FSAP Membership Requirements

Primary and affiliate members must be members of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP), FSAP’s parent organization.

Provisional members are members of a local unit of FSAP who are preparing to take the NAP regular membership exam. Local units are affiliated with the state association. They provide education and study opportunities for members and can help provisional members study for the NAP regular membership exam.

State Dues

Annual dues for all member classes is $25.
Student and military members may qualify for a fifty percent reduction in dues.

NAP Regular Membership

There are three easy steps to become a member of NAP

1. Complete the membership application.

2. Pay your first year’s pro-rated dues.

3. Earn a passing grade on the “RONR In Brief” membership exam (administered online). The exam consists of forty questions on parliamentary procedures as described in Robert’s Rules of Order In Brief, 3rd edition (RONRIB). RONRIB is available for purchase from the NAP online store and is generally available from local booksellers. Also available from NAP is the free NAP Membership Study Guide to help you prepare for the exam.
